Charge Your bZ4X At Home Or At A Public Charging Station

Level 1: 120‑Volt

Charge anywhere there is a common household 3‑prong outlet. A great pick for drivers with short commutes. You can go from Low Battery Light to 100% fully charged in about 50 hours, which averages up to four miles per hour.*

Level 2: 240‑Volt

Although bZ4X comes with a Level 1 charger, adding a Level 2 charger at home provides the best setup for faster charging at home. You just need a licensed electrician to install it. You can go from Low Battery Light to 100% fully charged in about 9.5 hours, which averages up to 23 miles per hour.*

Level 3: DC Fast Charging

Currently available at public charging stations. Under ideal conditions, you can charge from Low Battery Light to 80% in as quickly as ~30 minutes (FWD) or ~60 minutes (AWD) with charging that equates to approximately 6 miles per minute (FWD) and 3 miles per minute (AWD).**

* Actual range attainable per minute/hour of charging will vary significantly depending on speed, outside temperature, accessory use, how/where you drive, battery condition and other factors.

** DC charging times are estimated based on ideal charging conditions. As temperatures decrease below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, charging time will increase significantly. For the bZ4X AWD model, charging may slow down more than other models in weather conditions below 32 degrees Fahrenheit and may not be possible when the temperature drops to around ‑4 degrees Fahrenheit and below. Drive battery level and condition, charger specifications and DC charging more than twice per day also can negatively affect charging time.
